Mother of all the Living

Inred the Twelve Extraordinary Men from John MacArthur and really enjoyed it, so I had to get the Twelve Extraordinary Woman.  He start with Eve of course and I really got a lot out of it.  Women are a gift from God to men.  One thing he points out is when everything created was brought to Adam to name and there was nothing found suitable for him, so God took it upon himself , without Adam asking, to create a special helper from Adam for man, woman.  We are made in mans glory and we are to be his helper.  I feel so honored to be created in this manner, as a special gift.

The first picture had such a reflection on the alpha sticker, so I took this one without the light above, but the image isn't as bright.
I used Prima Faith stamp of Eve.

The heart flips over and reads:
The woman was made of a rib out of the side of Adam, not made out of his head to rule over him, not out of his feet to be trampled upon by him, but out of his side to be equal with him, under his arm to be protected, and near his heart to be beloved.
Matthew Henry

Thanks for looking, I hope you feel honored today as a woman.

Outstretched

Sunday's sermon was so moving! His outstretched hand reaches down to save us, and we need to stretch out our arms to him.  When we do we invite him to walk with us and work his power through us.  He is not a genie to work for us but loves us so much that he wants to come with us on our journey and work through us.
Won't you outstretched your arms today and walk with Jesus!
Blessings,
Jill

Faith Art Journaling class

We had such a fantastic time today at Trinity Baptist Church in Sun City Center today! They were all brave in trusting God to lead them in their art worship adventure.
We plan on meeting again March 26th right before Easter and doing a page on the empty tomb.

Look at all those beautiful pages so full of color!

Jesus is the Light

A friend had asked me to do the Hopetown Lighthouse on a bible page and canvas, so using my Pazzles machine I cut out the lighthouse for the canvas and made a stencil for the bible page.  Added some seashell stamps to finish it off.  Jesus is the light of the world, in him there is no darkness.

Have a blessed day and take time for Gods word and friends today.

The Resserected King

Our church played this song Resserecting from Elevation Worship for the first time this Sunday.  It will be our main Easter song this year. I have not been able to get the lyrics out of my head and love every word and verse of this song.  I had to do an art worship page for it this evening.  Used watercolors and pencils. I hope you are as uplifted and inspired by the song as I have been. Blessings, Jill
