Faith Art Journaling class

We had such a fantastic time today at Trinity Baptist Church in Sun City Center today! They were all brave in trusting God to lead them in their art worship adventure.

We plan on meeting again March 26th right before Easter and doing a page on the empty tomb.

Look at all those beautiful pages so full of color!

The Resserected King

Our church played this song Resserecting from Elevation Worship for the first time this Sunday.  It will be our main Easter song this year. I have not been able to get the lyrics out of my head and love every word and verse of this song.  I had to do an art worship page for it this evening.  Used watercolors and pencils. I hope you are as uplifted and inspired by the song as I have been. Blessings, Jill

Alive in Christ

This was a late entry into my bible last night.  I have been reading Colossians and copying the book in my journal.  I have seen this image as a tattoo before and was reminded of it last night and it fit perfect on the page.  I did prep the page with gesso first and used a Pitt pen.  Red acrylic paint was splattered to finish it off.

Have a blessed week!

Jesus is Light of the World

Hi Faithers!  Today's entry is in Matthew 5:16....be a light and shine for Jesus!  I designed the candle stamp, from my Light of the World stamp set, to fit nicely into the cross stamp, from Grace and Mercy stamp set.  The word stamps are from those sets as well and the parentheses.  I just got these neon Stabilo pens and wanted to use those, so my page is rather bright!  I'm letting my light shine:)  The rays are from a Tim Holtz stencil with Distress ink.  I did prep the page first with the Tri Art Gesso....it is a very smooth gesso, just like the Art Basics, and I had no bleed through.

Below are the stamp sets that I used on the page....there are countless ways to use the images!

Thanks for stopping by today.  Remember to sign up to the left with your email to get inspiration every morning in your inbox!

Let you light shine today for all to see!

Hugs,

Jill

Faith Art Rubber Stamps are HERE!!!!

Hi Biblers!!
I am so excited to share my new line of rubber stamps with you!!!  They are so versatile and can be used of course with Faith Art (that's why I made them! lol), but they will also work well if you do the Project Life, Documented Faith or Documented Life.  They are made in the good ole USA and come in a CD case for storage, they are mounted on cling cushion, so you just stick them to an acrylic block and stamp.  As you have seen examples the last couple of days, there are countless verses and places in your bibles that you can use them.  With every purchase 10% goes to "His Girls" a program to help girls get on the right path.  I have also included 3 tabs to be used to make the beautiful pages you will be making in your bibles.

They can all be purchased in my Etsy Store here.

I have made decorative elements that can help decorate your page in each stamp set, like the parentheses and the vine in the first set....use them to decorate the names of each book on top and bottom

Let me know what you think of the stamp sets!!
